Chanel Rare Red Lizard Leather Mini Rectangular Flap Bag

This is a stunning Chanel flap bag crafted from luxurious red lizard skin. It is a Series 0 (1986-88), one of the first models produced after Karl Lagerfield joined Chanel and instituted the serial number system for the bags. As with all bags produced before late 2008, all hardware on this bag is plated in 24k gold. The exterior displays a red scale-textured pattern across the body of the bag and the flap. The exterior is in stunning preowned condition, with minimal wear to the corners or edges. The front flap features an embossed interlocking CC logo, and opens with a magnetic snap closure to a pristine red leather interior. The bag is carried by a long, 24k gold plated single chain strap that is interwoven with red leather, characteristic of Chanel's iconic style. The chain strap enable crossbody and, with some wrapping of the chain, shoulder or handle carry.

This red bag is in New preowned condition and comes as an original full Series 0 set - Chanel box (does have some damage from removed stickers), original dust bag and ity card. Objectivity aside, this is one of the most unique and beautiful bags I have ever come across.
